March 28, 2007 - The specifications for the Mississippi Alternative Housing Program, Mississippi Park Model have been released and can be downloaded at the NTA, Inc. website, www.ntainc.com .

This is the next step in the process for the $400 million appropriated for the Gulf Coast Rebuilding Efforts. Last year, the states of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas all submitted projects that ranked as the most competitive to receive grant funding, with the projects providing a high degree of confidence in achieving their goal. One of the top projects selected was the Mississippi Park Model and Mississippi Cottage Project. Up to $275,427,730.00 was allocated for this project, which involves park models and the construction of modular homes.
