Each fall, the National Modular Housing Council embarks on a tour of a region of the country to visit modular home construction facilities.

This year, the third annual National Modular Housing Council’s (NMHC) Modular Factory Tour went to Portland, Maine in October, and visited Oxford Homes, KBS Building Systems, Keiser Homes, and New England Homes.

During the three-day event, participants toured these four outstanding facilities, attended a pre-tour workshop covering modular home construction management and a modular housing market overview, attended two networking receptions, and concluded the event with a panel discussion with representatives from each manufacturer on the tour.

The NMHC Factory Tours is open to anyone who wants to attend, including builder/developers, manufacturers, and others who want to learn more about the modular housing industry.

Dates and location for the 2007 NMHC Factory Tour will be announced in early spring, so be sure to mark your calendars!
